Too much for a baby imo. this seems like fodder for adults…take your kids outside let them interact with others/things themselves
This is still way better than the Your baby can read crap that you can buy .
And it’s cheaper !
Great educational video for kids!
Is this really Baby Einstein? This isn’t educational at all! In fact, why is there even a market to get kids hooked on t.v. at an early age anyway? Play a Beethoven record or CD and play with your baby yourselves. I don’t understand why people have kids if they want others to raise them for them, like Uncle Television.
it made my baby fall asleep
I decided to watch a Baby Einstein movie just to see what all the fuss was about. If this was REALLY a Baby Einstein movie, it is one of the worst “educational” movies I’ve ever seen. I’d never permit my toddler to watch this junk. But it does not surprise me that Disney is selling this stuff… after all, they are also pushing kids to eat at McDonalds and BurgerKing.
Well, I just read in the news that Disney is offering a refund for Baby Einstein videos because new research has shown that for every 1 hour of TV a toddler watched per day, they knew 6-8 words less than toddlers who did not watch TV. Researchers have found that Baby Einstein is actually harmful to toddlers. (Go search for the news articles). Disney is offering a refund.
however they clearly didn’t help with your spelling or language skills.
Julie Aigner-Clark is on the videos talking about how you should hold your baby, READ to your baby and interact with her along with the videos. Oh no, but asking some parents to do some actual parenting with their kids would be asking too much. “Me…read to my kid…isn’t that someone elses job”. Pfft. I really resent that all this is happening to the baby einstein co. right now. Everytime theres something good made the lazy people want to screw it all up for the rest of us.
Thats because parents sat their kids in front of the T.V. for hours & then expected the VIDEO to do all the work. Its just a TOOL to help WITH the parents. Too many lazy parents want others, anybody besides themselves, to RAISE their kids. They just want to have them and then baby sit them. WHat do they expect. Parents…do YOUR OWN jobs!
I Love Baby Einstein.
P.S. My 5 month old daughter wont hardly go to sleep without listening to a mixed classical cd i burned for her.
when Alayah watches this, she goes back in time and remembers everything from the video!(She’s eight now!!)
yes, and now it’s being called “The great Baby Einstein scam”.
You’re right!
Recent News: Disney is offering millions of parents refunds on its best-selling Baby Einstein learning videos in an apparent admission that they do not boost infants’ intelligence

i just started to babysit and my friends one year-old loves it ,she laughed so hard!!!!!
My 3-month-old baby girl loves it, especially the FOR ELISA part. Thanks!
I love this video myself… it’s just fun to watch. The spinning blue orbs are GREAT!
i agree with webdz9r 30 mins wont hurt ur kids to watch and movie and me time is very important to us MUM’S
My 7 month old loves this video. I play it for him when he is in his high chair. He loves the dog with the bone part the most. I think 8 minutes of hearing classical music is fine for any child!
Absolutely girl!
To all those self-righteous critics commenting on here, I’ll bet each of you are parent of the year, aye? lol. I’m home with my baby all day and so is my husband (he works from home). She gets PLENTY of human interaction, reading an walking. A few minutes in front of a stimulating movie is called smart, not lazy. That’s 30 minutes of ME time. What good is a parent if they don’t take a few minutes to take care of THEMSELVES. Moderation in all things.
my baby sister loves this video
Maybe because they’re trying everything to sell it to you. To them, as with all big businesses, humans are demographics.
I’ll play devils advocate for a moment, doesn’t mean I’m right, and posit: maybe she was just naturally gifted and Baby Einstein had nothing to do with it?
I’ve yet to see hard evidence that Baby Einstein helps kids growth at all. Not that I’m an expert, but still.
amen.
Don’t have kids if you can’t be their parents.
